Perry Robinson (* 1938 - † 2018) was an American jazz clarinetist and composer,
who brought a new perspective to the clarinet in contemporary jazz.
In addition to his contribution to jazz, Perry has recorded folk music, klezmer, blues, classical, rock'n roll and played with jazz musicians as various as Dave Brubeck, Archie Shepp, Gunter Hampel and William Parker, as well as other artists such as Pete Seeger,Ginger Baker, and Allen Ginsberg.
